The movies that made me

You know how some people have that special song or book that just speaks to them? Well, for me, it's all about movies. I mean, there's nothing quite like dimming the lights, grabbing a blanket, and letting a film whisk you away to another world, right? Movies and I, we've got history. From those Saturday mornings as a kid, watching animated wonders with wide eyes, to the late-night movie marathons during college, movies have been there for me like loyal friends. Growing up, movies taught me how to dream big, love hard, and even how to take a punch (figuratively, of course). From action heroes to romantic leads, the characters I watched became friends I could turn to, stories I could lose myself in.

In this little corner of the web, I want to share with you all a piece of my heart. The movies that made me laugh, cry, think, and grow. The movies that, in some small way, made me who I am today.

As someone who's totally obsessed with the art of cinema, I can't help but get excited about all the imaginative and unique twists on alternative movie posters out there. It's like exploring a whole new dimension of creativity, where familiar films are reimagined through the eyes of talented artists (huge shoutout and respect to those amazing artists btw). Every new design I see not only brings a fresh perspective to the film itself but also fuels my own inspiration and love for movies. And so, with a ton of excitement, I've gone ahead and rounded up the absolute best of the best in alternate posters for this list of the movies that made me.

Wanna skip the queue, here’s the link to the same in Letterboxd.

If you've made it this far, a big thanks for hanging out with me all the way to the finish line! Now, I'm turning the spotlight over to you. What are the movies that have shaped you, that have made you who you are? I'm super curious to know, so drop down the list or it’s Letterboxd. Let's make this a conversation and keep the film love going!
